Ideal for international travelers seeking a unique high-altitude safari and local visitors looking for a peaceful nature escape, Aberdare National Park provides exceptional wildlife viewing, scenic landscapes, and exciting outdoor activities. The park is home to forest elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, giant forest hogs, and rare species like the endangered bongo antelope and the elusive melanistic (black) leopard.
Visitors can explore beautiful hiking trails, dramatic waterfalls such as Karuru Falls and Gura Falls, and historic sites like the famous Treetops Lodge, where Princess Elizabeth II stayed when she ascended to the British throne in 1952.
