Tour Details

Discover Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet ecologically diverse park in northern Tanzania, famously described by Ernest Hemingway as the “loveliest I had seen in Africa.” Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park covers 330 km², combining groundwater forests, open floodplains, and a shimmering alkaline lake into a single wildlife haven.

Lake Manyara is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, vast elephant herds, and thousands of flamingos, offering intimate wildlife encounters in a park that’s ideal for first-time safari-goers and nature enthusiasts. This four-day safari combines game drives, guided hikes, canoe safaris, birdwatching, and cultural experiences in nearby communities.
