Tour Details

Discover the spectacular wildlife and scenery of Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most famous national parks located in the heart of the Great Rift Valley, about 160 km northwest of Nairobi. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important wildlife conservation areas in East Africa.

Lake Nakuru National Park is internationally recognized as Kenya’s first and most successful rhino sanctuary, offering some of the best chances to see both black and white rhinoceroses in the wild. The park is also a refuge for the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, one of the rarest giraffe subspecies in Africa.

The alkaline Lake Nakuru attracts thousands of flamingos and pelicans, making it one of Africa’s most famous birdwatching destinations with over 450 recorded bird species. Visitors may also encounter lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, and numerous antelope species.

With its stunning mix of soda lake shoreline, acacia woodlands, grasslands, and rocky escarpments, Lake Nakuru offers some of the most scenic safari landscapes in Kenya.
