Experience the spectacular beauty of Murchison Falls National Park, the largest and oldest national park in Uganda, covering approximately 3,840 square kilometers. Located in the northwestern part of the country, the park is one of the most diverse safari destinations in East Africa.
The park is best known for the dramatic Murchison Falls, where the mighty Victoria Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging 45 meters into the powerful “Devil’s Cauldron,” creating one of the most impressive waterfalls in the world.
Murchison Falls National Park is home to a rich variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, hippos, and Nile crocodiles. The park hosts 76 species of mammals and more than 450 bird species, making it one of Uganda’s top wildlife and birdwatching destinations.
This four-day safari combines exciting game drives, boat safaris along the Nile River, scenic hikes to the top of the falls, and optional chimpanzee tracking experiences in the nearby Budongo Forest.
