Tour Details

Discover the incredible rainforest ecosystem of Kibale National Park, widely known as the “Primate Capital of the World.” Covering approximately 795 square kilometers, this lush tropical forest is one of the most biodiverse habitats in East Africa and is famous for having the highest density and diversity of primates on the continent.

Kibale National Park is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees and 13 different primate species, making it one of the best places in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Visitors have an excellent chance of observing chimpanzees in their natural environment as they move through the forest canopy, communicate, and forage for food.

The park also hosts a wide variety of other primates including the endangered Ugandan red colobus, L’Hoest’s monkey, black-and-white colobus, and grey-cheeked mangabey. In addition to primates, the forest is home to mammals such as forest elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs, and the rare sitatunga antelope.

This four-day safari offers a unique opportunity to explore Uganda’s tropical rainforest, track chimpanzees, observe diverse wildlife, and experience community-based conservation projects near the park.
